650 HP Bentley Bentayga can go from 0 – 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds

A few weeks ago, PGA Cars Inc. launched the Bentayga Hybrid for the Philippine market. This marks the first time the ultra-luxury SUV can be had with an electrified powertrain, which makes it exempt from the number coding scheme. More importantly, it gets the benefit of a plug-in hybrid twin-turbo V6 that doles out 462 PS with 700 Nm of torque and can travel on electric power for up to 50 km.

But for those who still swear by pure internal combustion, Bentley has just revealed the most powerful Bentayga yet. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the 2025 Bentley Bentayga Speed and its 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine. While the new Bentayga Speed lost four cylinders, it gained more power and torque compared to its predecessor.

The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 generates 650 HP and a peak torque of 850 Nm that is available from 2250 to 4500 rpm. Compared to the twin-turbo 6.0L W12 from before, the new Bentayga Speed makes an additional 15 HP but puts out 50 Nm less of torque. Despite having slightly less pulling power, the full-size luxury SUV can rocket itself to 100 km/h from a standstill in just 3.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 310 km/h. In comparison, the W12 Bentayga Speed can only do it in 3.9 seconds.

Besides having one heck of an engine, Bentley also allowed the twin-turbo V8 to breathe easier, as well as make one heck of a sound thanks to a new Akrapovic titanium exhaust. It's available as an option, which further accentuates the power, drama, and potency of the mighty twin-turbo V8 under the hood via quad tailpipes. The standard exhaust system, meanwhile, only gets dual outlets.

A total of three drive modes are available in the 2025 Bentayga Speed: Comfort, Sport, and Enhanced Sport. Whereas Comfort has been carried over from the previous Bentayga Speed, Bentley claims Sport Mode has been enhanced as it delivers better steering response and a 15% increase in suspension damping stiffness. Last but not least is Enhanced Sport, which will allow drivers to fully make use of the V8's power during cornering.

Style-wise, the 2025 Bentayga Speed features bright chrome badges that show the “Speed” nameplate on the edge of the front doors, stylish 22-inch Speed wheels in either dark tint or silver (23-inch set is optional), unique Speed headlights that come with dark tint graphics and bezel, and a black roof, which can be specified as an optional extra.

Hop inside, and the 2025 Bentayga Speed welcomes occupants into a sporty cabin festooned with various amenities. These include a new Precision Diamond Quilt design for its upholstery, Speed badging on the passenger fascia & treadplates, and a Speed-specific driver information display unique to this particular model. In true Bentley fashion, customers who wish to get one can fully customize their Bentayga Speed to suit their specific tastes and preferences.
