Aside from the BJ80 & X55 II, UAAGI might also bring the BAIC BJ60 4x4
It looks like United Asia Automotive Group Inc (UAAGI) is wasting no time teasing some of the vehicles they will be bringing to the Philippine market. While no official word has come from the company, we already have a good idea of what to expect. Heck, aside from the BJ80, UAAGI might also be bringing the X55 II compact crossover.
Besides the two aforementioned vehicles, the company might also be bringing the BAIC BJ60 4x4 full-size SUV. Like the BJ80 and X55 II, the company has yet to state if the BJ60 will officially be launched here. But based on a social media post we saw recently, it's looking to be more like a matter of when and not if.

Local specifications are not yet available for the BJ60. But a quick look at what the PRC gets has given us a better idea of what to expect. Under the hood, the BJ60 will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 251 PS and 400 Nm of torque. It is then assisted by a 48V belt-starter generator (BSG) which puts out an additional 13.6 PS plus 50 Nm of pull.
The electrified powertrain is then mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox along with a part-time 4WD system. It has several modes that include 2H (2WD High), 4H (4WD High), and 4L (4WD Low). For extra peace of mind going off-road, it has three differential locks and a crawl control system. It has 750mm of water-wading capability along with a generous 215mm of ground clearance. Depending on the variant UAAGI brings, the BJ60 can come as a 5-seater or as a 7-seater SUV.

In terms of size, the BJ60 measures 5040mm long, 1955mm wide, 1925mm tall, and has a 2820mm wheelbase. Design-wise, the BJ60 appears to have taken inspiration from various brands and vehicles. The front end appears to to have been inspired by Jeep while the rear end looks like BAIC took a page from the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
Hop inside and the BJ60 comes with plenty of high-tech features. These include a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster, a large panoramic sunroof, dual-zone (or tri-zone) climate control, a 12-speaker sound system, a wireless charging pad, Wi-Fi hotspot, and power-adjustable front seats.

On the technology front, it gets a 360-degree camera system, a unique 180-degree camera that makes the front part of the chassis invisible to show blind spots which is useful for going off-road, automated parking, and a host of intelligent driver aids (adaptive cruise control, front collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering, traffic sign recognition, rear-cross traffic alert, & blind-spot detection).
With UAAGI looking to reveal the BJ60, the BJ80, and the X55 II vehicles soon, the company will have its hands full in the coming weeks.
