Ten new Class 2 modern PUVs from Isuzu will run the Cogeo to Cubao route
Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), through its dealership, Isuzu Manila, recently delivered 10 brand-new Isuzu NLR77 Class 2 Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs) to Lungsod Silangan Transport Service and Multi-Purpose Cooperative (LSTSMPC). The turnover event showcases the cooperative’s continuous commitment to providing modern, comfortable, and reliable transportation for passengers along the Cogeo to Cubao route.
With this latest delivery, LSTSMPC now operates a total of 111 modern PUVs, solidifying its position as one of the biggest transport operators in Antipolo City. The new Isuzu NLR77 PUV is powered by a 4JH1-TC Blue Power Diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 106 PS and 230 Nm of torque, ideal for transporting heavy loads and numerous passengers while maintaining fuel efficiency.
The new PUVs were built to meet the Philippine National Standard (PNS) guidelines and have a Class 2 body configuration fabricated by CENTRO Manufacturing. It also has an air-conditioning system provided by Country Cool, and an Automated Fare Collection System (AFCS) powered by BEEP. All of these features enhance both passenger comfort and convenience, ensuring a seamless travel experience.

But what truly sets apart the Isuzu modern PUVs is its robust aftersales service and readily available spare parts, a critical factor in LSTSMPC’s decision to expand its fleet with Isuzu vehicles.
“We trust Isuzu because of its strong aftersales support to their customers. Parts availability is critical to our operations, and with Isuzu, we can be assured of minimal downtime for our units. Their service costs are reasonable, and their extensive service packages give us confidence in our decision,” said Arcadio Inso, LSTSMPC General Manager.
This latest delivery further highlights IPC’s continued support of the government’s PUV Modernization Program and transport cooperatives nationwide by providing high-quality, environment-friendly, and customer-centric transportation solutions.
“We are proud to be part of LSTSMPC’s journey toward modernizing public transport. As always, our focus remains on delivering the best aftersales service to ensure our customers’ operations remain smooth and reliable,” said Art Silvestre, Isuzu Manila Branch Head.
