TMP awards Circuit and Autocross challenge champs
After three successful legs, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has officially wrapped up the 2022 season of the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Vios Cup in an awarding ceremony held recently at the Bonifacio Global City.
Awards were given for both the TGR Vios Cup Circuit Championship as well as the Autocross Challenge where the media and influencers competed.

Starting off with the TGR Vios Cup Circuit Championship's Super Sporting Class, it was Iñigo Anton of Toyota North EDSA-Obengers Racing Team who was crowned overall champion, while Gerard Loy of R Racing Team and John Dizon of Funhanmart-Obengers Racing Team took the runner-up spots.

Meanwhile, Royce Sarmiento of RMS Cars Racing Team took top honors for the Sporting Class ahead of Joaquin Garrido of Toyota Otis-Obengers Racing Team and Troy Montero of Team Toyota Gazoo Racing PH.

For the Promotional Class, Jay Lao of Happy Hotels/OTR Racing Team took home the championship, while the duo of Ian Rosales and Alan Palacios of Toyota Team Cebu were the runners-up.

In the overall team award for the TGR Vios Cup Circuit Championship, it was the Obengers Racing Team who garnered the most points and ended up as the winners of this year's teams' title.

Moving on to the Autocross Challenge, AutoIndustriya.com's very own Jamil Lacuna was declared the overall champion in the Advanced Media Class, while Kevin Francisco and Ronald delos Reyes placed 2nd and 3rd overall. For the Beginner Media Class, it was Pablo Salapantan who took home the first-place trophy ahead of Wowie Go and Riz Javier.
In the Advanced Influencer Class, Jules Aquino was awarded champion while Enzo Pineda and Arron Villaflor finished 2nd and 3rd, respectively. The Beginner Influencer Class title was claimed by Miggy Romulo, while Carla Lizardo and Ashley Gosiengfiao rounded out the podium spots.

Lastly, for the new GR GT Cup Class, it was Russel Reyes who was crowned champion while Mark Elman and Jether Miole finished as this season's runners-up.
TMP held the night to commend and show appreciation to the racers who not only contributed to the success of the 2022 TGR Vios Cup but also served as ambassadors for TMP and TGR’s goal of promoting motorsports in the country.

The 2022 Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup is organized in cooperation with Bridgestone, Petron, Brembo, Denso, OMP, Tuason Racing, AVT, 3M, Rota, My Toyota Wallet, and Kinto One.
