Motul joins McLaren Formula 1 Team as an official supplier

After 50 years, Motul returns to Formula 1 with McLaren Racing

McLaren Racing today announced Motul, a global company that specializes in the formulation, production, and distribution of high-performance lubricants, as an Official Supplier of the McLaren Formula 1 Team.

With it, Motul will join the McLaren F1 team for the 2026 season and beyond, and will provide the team with high-performance transmission lubricants.

We look forward to working together in this exciting partnership,” said Nick Martin, Co-Chief Commercial Officer at McLaren Racing.

Meanwhile, Andreea Culcea, Chief Brand & Communications Officer at Motul, shared that Motul’s partnership with McLaren marks the company’s return to Formula 1.

With Motul making its return to Formula 1 after 50 years, the lubricant specialist will provide the McLaren Formula 1 Team with high-performance transmission lubricants in the years to come.
