Filipino star Inigo Anton for gets Motul backing for full 2025 Formula 4 SEA campaign with BlackArts Racing
Rising Filipino motorsport sensation Iñigo Anton is set to take a significant step in his international racing career as he prepares to compete in his first full season of the Formula 4 South East Asia (F4 SEA) Championship in 2025. The Baguio-born driver will be racing for the established BlackArts Racing team, with crucial backing from major sponsor Motul Luzon by Infiniteserv International.

The 2025 F4 SEA Championship, scheduled to commence this weekend, marks a pivotal moment for Anton. While he made his F4 SEA debut with BlackArts Racing during the season finale at Sepang in December 2023, securing point-scoring finishes, the upcoming season represents his full commitment to the highly competitive single-seater category. The championship will span five race weekends and approximately 15 races across renowned circuits in Malaysia and Thailand, including the Sepang International Circuit, Chang International Circuit (Buriram), and potentially the Bangsaen Street Circuit.
Anton enters the F4 SEA season carrying significant momentum. In September 2024, he impressed during a guest appearance in the Formula 4 Australian Championship finale, also held at Sepang with BlackArts Racing, where he secured back-to-back rookie class wins. Locally, he solidified his status as one of the Philippines' top talents by clinching the 2024 Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup overall championship, becoming the only driver to win the prestigious one-make series title twice. His achievements were further recognized when he received the Motorsport Achievement Award for 2024 from the Golden Wheel Awards Foundation, Inc.
Under the guidance of BlackArts Racing, led by coaches including former Formula 1 driver Alex Yoong, Anton aims to further hone his single-seater skills.
"This will be my first full season in Formula Cars and I'm looking forward to honing my skills and learning from the best in the region," Anton stated recently.
Key to Anton's 2025 campaign is the support from Motul Philippines through Luzon exclusive distributor Infiniteserv International. The high-performance lubricant brand has recognized Anton's exceptional talent and dedication. He is also supported by Alpinestars Philippines, providing his cutting-edge race gear.

"Motul Philippines Infiniteserv International recognizes Inigo's incredible talents and unwavering commitment to Motorsports, which aligns perfectly with the brand's core values," affirmed Peter Yung, Marketing Head for Motul Luzon - Infiniteserv International.
"We believe that he is ready to conquer the international stage," Yung added.
Anton, the son of multi-titled Filipino racer Carlos Anton, has built a diverse and impressive racing resume despite his youth. A University of Baguio student, he made history in 2022 by winning three major championships in a single year (TGR Vios Cup Super-Sporting, Radical Philippines, and Philippine GT Champion – leading to the AAP Driver of the Year award for Circuit Racing). He has also excelled in karting, slalom/autocross (becoming the youngest champion at age 11), and even represented the Philippines in the inaugural Olympic Esports Competition for motorsports, finishing as a top 10 finalist globally in Gran Turismo.
As he prepares for the demanding F4 SEA season, which serves as a crucial stepping stone for young drivers aspiring to higher levels of motorsport, Anton remains focused. He has assured supporters he will give his utmost effort to bring home strong results and continue making the Philippines and his hometown of Baguio City proud on the international stage.
The 2025 Formula 4 South East Asia Championship begins May 2-4 at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
