Honda has reportedly announced that the CR-Z is set to compete in this year's Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
According to Response.jp, Honda will run a CR-Z in the Exhibition class of the 2015 Pikes Peak. The said CR-Z is fitted with Honda's next-generation hybrid technology featuring an Electric SH-AWD system and a Precision All-Wheel Steering (P-AWS).

Details regarding Honda's Electric SH-AWD system remain to be limited, but this CR-Z could be equipped with two electric motors to power the rear wheels.
The CR-Z will be driven by Tetsuya Yamano, a Japanese Super GT Series driver. In terms of the exterior, the CR-Z features an aggressive aero kit as well as a modified bodywork.
Previously, Honda entered a CR-Z hybrid sports coupe in the Exhibition class of the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. It was driven by Sage Marie from Honda North America.
