Ferrari reveals new F1-75 with black-red livery
Ferrari is looking to make their championship comeback in Formula 1 this year, and they plan to do so with their 2022 challenger. Meet the F1-75, and it looks like a throwback to the Scuderia’s 90s F1 cars with a darker shade of red and black front and rear wings.

Design-wise, Scuderia’s new 2022 challenger bears some similarities with the Aston Martin AMR22. Specifically, Ferrari also decided to use vents along the body and runs behind the driver. As a result, these give it a shark fin-like styling. Unlike the AMR22, however, there is a big “dip” in the bodywork at the start of the vent.
"This is an important day for us as we launch our car, the Ferrari F1-75. I must admit that personally, I'm excited about it, as this car is a product of the effort, dedication, and passion of each one of us. It's down to the work of a group of people who have invested everything in this car, working with courage, creativity, and team spirit," said team principal Mattia Binotto.

In 2021, Ferrari rebounded from one of the worst seasons finishing third in the constructor’s championship. Meanwhile, drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc managed to finish 5th and 7th, respectively. However, a Ferrari driver has not won the drivers’ championship since 2007. The now-retired Kimi Raikkonen continues to be Ferrari’s last world champion. The team has also not won the constructors’ title since 2008.

With the new rule change in F1 this season, we hope to see more competitive and closer racing among the field. The cars of each team also look very different from one another.
