Formula Drift is all set to burn rubber
Formula Drift has released the 2016 calendar which includes World Championship, Pro Championship and PRO 2 events. For 2016, Formula Drift will have events in various places in the United States, Canada and Japan.
Entering the thirteenth year of competition, organizers said that Formula Drift will expand the Pro Championship event to eight rounds.
On the other hand, the World Championship event will consists of eight Pro Championship rounds as well as two Japan rounds.
The PRO 2 Series will consist of four rounds featuring a new “stand-alone PRO 2 and Pro Am” competition which will be held on September 30 to October 1 in Phoenix, Arizona.

President and co-founder of Formula Drift Jim Liaw said that they look forward to further expand the sport.
“With the continued success of our international presence, we look forward to growing the Sport domestically and internationally this upcoming season,” said Liaw.
