Serving as the brand’s flagship electric luxury sedan, some might say it’s essentially an S-Class on electric power. But unlike the ICE-powered S-Class sedan, the EQS is a liftback as it gets a rear hatch instead of a trunk. It also sits on a unique platform dedicated to Mercedes-Benz EVs.
The EQS is available in just one variant, the EQS 450 4MATIC AMG. It comes with a pair of electric motors that dole out a combined 360 PS and 800 Nm of torque. It comes with a 108.4 kWh battery pack which gives the electric luxury sedan a range between 597 to 717 km on a full charge. It can also catapult itself from 0 - 100 km/h in a brisk 5.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 km/h.
