Nearly 400 racers compete for PHP 3 million prize pool
It’s almost time for Christmas, but drag racing enthusiasts, fans, and teams have come together for one more shot at quarter-mile glory in the Clark International Speedway for this year’s Motul Race Wars.
Organized by Motul Luzon - Infiniteserv International, the exclusive distributor of Motul performance lubricants in Luzon, the 2025 Motul Race Wars saw nearly 400 racers compete in the Diesel, Novelty, Hotstreet, Sportsman, Expert, Super Pro, Pro and Quick 8 classes, where the fastest man and machine combo in each category took home cash prizes from the PHP 3 million prize pool.

This was done by Infiniteserv International to promote motorsports events and encourage drag racing enthusiasts to take their racing off the streets, and race safely in legal venues such as the Clark International Speedway’s main straight.

As with previous editions of Motul Race Wars, the greatest number of entrants came in the Hotstreet, Sportsman, and Diesel classes. Speaking of the latter, it was Mark Martin Pituc taking home the victory with a 15.860-second pass in the quarter mile, with Jonathan Young and Jay-R Manio placing 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
In the Novelty class, it was Ace San Agustin who emerged as the quarter-mile king, while Arjay Millet and Jonathan Tiu took home the 1st and 2nd runner-up honors in the category.
For the Hotstreet class, Tiboy Dungca’s 16.049-second time took him to the top of the standings, with Jay-R Manio and Gianne Carlo Panlaqui bringing their race cars home with 1st and 2nd runner-up trophies.

The Sportsman class saw Rafael Evangelista post a 14.034-second quarter mile time to win in the category ahead of Kent Patrick Laroza and Allan Pabustan, who logged in 14.376 and 15.158-second times to finish as the runners-up. The podium performers on the Expert class, on the other hand, were Paul Galban, Dondon Santos, and Rhene Alam, who took home 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in class, respectively.
In the Pro class, Sean Christian Young claimed the champion trophy with Alexis Ariola and Sunny Subida garnering 2nd and 3rd place honors. The Super Pro class saw Jeremy Penullar finish 1st with Jonathan Tiu and Michael Puno making up the podium places in 2nd and 3rd. Lastly, the Quick 8 class was also won by Jeremy Penullar with a 10.331 quarter-mile time.

Motul Luzon - Infiniteserv International extends its sincerest gratitude to all the sponsors and partners that made this year’s drag racing season a success, and congratulations to all the winners and participants of the Motul Race Wars.
