2024 Motul Trans Sport Show: 32 years strong
What to see at the 32nd edition of TSS
Tradeshow International, Inc. and Motul distributor Infiniteserv International Corp. officially opened the 2024 Motul Trans Sport Show, celebrating 32 years of the longest-running aftermarket auto show in the country.
The SMX Convention Center halls are filled with over 100 cars and over 30 participating booths that proudly display the finest rides and the latest in the aftermarket industry, all for your viewing pleasure.
In the most recent editions of the Trans Sport Show, the event has allowed us to get up close and personal with some of the world’s fastest and most desirable supercars. This year’s running is no different as the Motul booth features cars like the Ford GT, an RWB Porsche, a drift-spec BMW M4, and a slick black Porsche 911 Sports Heritage edition.
Likewise, Second Skin Industries showed off their expertise in terms of vehicle wrapping and paint protection with a lineup that consists of Lamborghinis like the Urus SUV and Aventador SVJ, but the one that caught our attention was the Fluorescent Green Porsche 918 Spyder which was once part of the “Holy Trinity” of hypercars. For those who want to feast their eyes on more Italian supercars, Auto Complex has a Maserati MC20 and a Ferrari 488 Pista on display.
While there are plenty of modern speed machines, the 2024 Motul Trans Sport Show also features classic vehicles for nostalgic car enthusiasts. At the main entrance, the show welcomes you with a white Datsun 240Z on display. There are also vintage American classics such as the Excalibur from Alfred Motorworks, while a Chevrolet Corvette C1 and a Ford Mustang fastback can be seen on the Red Octagon booth.
European classics such as the Triumph roadster and a W123 Mercedes-Benz are found at the leftmost side of the event hall, while two examples of the original Porsche 911 are on display at the Carbon detailing booth – one even resembles Jennifer Connelly’s 911 from Top Gun: Maverick.
Of course, the Trans Sport Show wouldn’t be what it is today without Japanese tuners from both the past and the present. On the other hand, neatly dressed up examples of the Toyota GR 86, Subaru WRX, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, Nissan GT-R, and Honda Civic Type R are all found in various booths inside the event hall, while pocket-sized hatchbacks built for racing like the Toyota Vitz Turbo, Mazda 2, Honda Civic EG and the Suzuki Swift all make their appearance at the show.
Those into 4x4 trucks, SUVs, and outdoor lifestyle will be in for a treat as participating aftermarket specialist shops and outfitters feature various models from Ford like the Ranger and Everest, Toyota’s Hilux and Land Cruiser, along with the Suzuki Jimny dressed up for different themes.
One particular example is the 5-door version of the Suzuki Jimny customized by Overland Kings, connected to a trailer fitted with all the camping necessities, while Enkei has a 3-door Jimny that resembles the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe.
Meanwhile, Luxuriant Automotive Group, Inc. showed off their Road X, Sailun, and Giti tire brands worn by GWM vehicles such as the Tank 300, Cannon, and the Ora 03 EV. Speaking of tires, General Tire makes its Philippine market relaunch at the Trans Sport Show, featuring the Grabber lineup fitted to a Land Cruiser troop carrier and a Hilux pickup truck.
Lastly, automotive products and aftermarket accessories are also available with special discounts and freebies from participating aftermarket suppliers in the show.
