This could be Zeekr’s next model in PH

Last night, Zeekr Philippines made its entry to the luxury MPV segment with the official launch of the Zeekr 009. Packed with plenty of creature comforts and cutting-edge tech, the luxury MPV is being offered with a PHP 3.999M price tag for a limited time.

But as retail sales begin for the 009, Zeekr has also previewed what could be the next addition to its local lineup. Making its first appearance in the country is the Zeekr 7X – a midsize EV designed to compete against the likes of the Tesla Model Y and the Kia EV6.

Much like the Zeekr 009, the 7X features high-end equipment levels and comes with a striking LED lighting system in its exterior. It wears 20-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires, and comes with cross drilled front brake rotors to maximize braking power and heat dissipation.

The interior has a 16-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 13.5-inch instrument panel, and a 36-inch augmented reality head-up display. Meanwhile, most of the interior materials are wrapped in high-end Nappa full-grain leather.

While official PH market specs are yet to be revealed, the Zeekr 7X is available in both single and dual motor versions in other markets. The most powerful version comes in the dual motor AWD guise, putting out 646 PS and 710 Nm of torque. This takes the 7X from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, all while being capable of reaching up to 705 km on a single charge with its 100 kWh CATL-Geely Qilin NMC lithium-ion batteries.

Likewise, battery recharging is as rapid as they come. The high-voltage electrical system allows for fast DC charging, topping up the batteries from 10 to 80% SoC in under 13 minutes using a 360 kW station.

With the Zeekr 009 being priced at the PHP 4 million range, it will be interesting to see how Zeekr Philippines will price the 7X should they hold a launch within the coming months. But for reference, its main rival, the Tesla Model Y, starts at PHP 2.3 million in our market.
