Toyota Motor Philippines has introduced the 2015 Prius C during its media thanksgiving party held at the Manila Peninsula Hotel in Makati City.

Toyota PH says the letter “C” stands for “compact, clean, clever and city.” The 2015 Prius C features the brand's Hybrid Synergy Drive (HSD) technology that allows the vehicle to register low fuel consumption.

The 2015 Prius C is fitted with a restyled front bumper. The vehicle also sports a new fog lamp design which appears to be larger than the previous model. Moreover, the LED headlights of the updated Prius C looks more aggressive. Lastly, the 2015 Prius C is equipped with redesigned taillights.

Inside, it features a new navigation system, new seat upholstery, revised center console and an upgraded infotainment system. In addition, the 2015 Prius C now comes with Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TC) systems.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine that delivers 73 PS. Toyota PH adds that the said engine complies with the standard regulations of Euro V emissions.

This subcompact vehicle has four exterior paints to choose from: Silver Metallic, Yellow Mica Metallic, Cool Soda Metallic and Orange Pearl.

The 2015 Prius C will be available in four options:
