Charged and powered up
At the Tokyo Big Sight, Honda exhibited their latest concept for fun, sporty mobility with the EV-STER, a next generation electric roadster concept.
The EV-STER combines dynamic styling
with electric car performance and zero emissions. The new concept, as
Honda sees it, proposes a new way to enjoy a sports type model which
is unique to the electromotive mobility.

The adoption of carbon materials made
it possible to reduce the vehicle weight contributing to the
vehicle’s high driving performance and range of approximately
160km. The easy-to-operate twin-lever steering was adopted for a fun
drive.

The EV-STER concept also enables the driver to make his/her own adjustments to some vehicle characteristics such as motor output and suspension settings. The instrument panel also features a vehicle information display and a network display for the audio, navigation systems and internet access.
Honda claims the EV-STER can accelerate from 0-60 miles per hour (97 km/h) in just 5 seconds, a quick charge time of around 3 hours and a top speed of 160 km/h.
The EV-STER will be on display from December 3 to 11.
