BMW continues Philippine Loop with Northern Luzon leg
BMW has officially announced the start of the Northern Leg of its Philippine Loop adventure. After successfully conquering two out of the eight checkpoints and completing all six RoRo points in the Southern leg, the BMW team is now ready to tackle the remaining challenges of the archipelago.
This next phase of the journey will be an entirely land-based expedition, pushing the
boundaries of the BMW vehicles as they traverse the diverse landscapes of Northern Luzon.
The North loop will cover a total of six checkpoints, including Subic, Zambales; Alaminos,
Pangasinan; Atok, Benguet; Laoag, Ilocos Norte; Aparri, Cagayan and Baler, Aurora.

To conquer the diverse terrain of the Northern Philippines, the team will be utilizing a fleet
of four BMW vehicles: one BMW 318i Touring, two BMW X3 xDrive20d Business, and
one X5 xDrive30d M Sport. This carefully selected lineup represents the versatility and
capability of BMW's model range.
The adventure will be spearheaded by a team of experienced drivers and motoring media,
including Manskee Nascimento of Visor, Brando Rosales of AutoIndustriya, Isaac Atienza
of GoFlatOut, Luis Aguilar and Anton Eudela of CarGuide, and Alex Lim.
“We are thrilled to continue our Philippine Loop adventure,” said Spencer Yu, President of
SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp. “The Southern Leg has been an incredible experience,
showcasing the versatility, reliability, and fuel efficiency of our BMW vehicles. We are
confident that our fleet will continue to excel as we conquer the challenges of the Northern
terrain.”
