Suzuki Fronx with flex fuel technology to be shown at JMS 2025

Suzuki is getting ready for 2025 Japan Mobility Show EV, flex fuel concepts

We're only several weeks away from the 2025 Japan Mobility Show (JMS), and Suzuki has decided to reveal some of the vehicles (and concepts) they will have on display at Tokyo Big Sight.

Suzuki's booth at JMS 2025 will carry the theme “By Your Side”, which is also the automaker's corporate slogan that was announced earlier this year. By concentrating on technologies as a comprehensive mobility manufacturer, Suzuki believes that a multi-path initiative in achieving carbon neutrality is the way to go.

For starters, they will have the Fronx FFV Concept. Unlike the regular Fronx, the Fronx FFV Concept features flex fuel technology, which allows the crossover to use ethanol fuel. The result is little to no carbon emissions thanks to the use of ethanol fuel for the Fronx.

Apart from that, Suzuki will also have the e Every Concept at JMS 2025. It's a mini commercial EV that was jointly developed by Suzuki, Daihatsu, and Toyota. The electric kei car runs on pure electric power and can also provide electricity via a vehicle-to-load (V2L) system in times of emergencies. It measures 3395mm long, 1475mm wide, 1890mm tall, and has a range of up to 200 km on a single charge.

Moving on, Suzuki's idea for a small electric kei car comes in the form of the Vision e-Sky Concept. The tiny EV is intended for customers who regularly use minicars as a means of daily transportation, like commuting, shopping, and short trips on holidays. The automaker claims that on a full charge, the Vision e-Sky can cover up to 270 km. Moreover, it measures 3395mm long, 1475mm wide, and 1625mm tall. Suzuki plans to have this EV concept commercialized within fiscal year 2026.

Aside from four-wheeled vehicles & concepts, Suzuki will also have motorcycles and electric scooters on display at JMS 2025 to highlight the importance of two-wheeled mobility transport.

The 2025 Japan Mobility Show will be open to the public from October 30 – November 9, at the Tokyo Big Sight.
