To debut on August 25

Subaru released a teaser image of their new sports sedan, the WRX S4, ahead of its Japanese debut on August 25, 2014.

According to Subaru, the vehicle name 'S4' has four meanings: (1) Sports performance, (2) Safety performance, (3) Smart driving and (4) Sophisticated feel.

The automaker says the WRX S4 is infused with Subaru's AWD (all-wheel-drive) sports performance system and achives “unique overall safety performance, superior environmental friendliness and high-quality feel.”

The Subaru WRX S4 will also feature the EyeSight safety system that offers 40-percent wider and longer traffic range, brake-light detection and a faster response time.

With this, Subaru says the WRX S4 will allow drivers to enjoy superb driving performance without compromising safety and comfort.
