Porsche Panamera to get receive subtle updates for 2027 model year

Believe it or not, it's only been several years since Porsche revealed the third-generation Panamera. It made its global debut in Shanghai and features an evolutionary redesign. It now gets the now-familiar LED Matrix headlights, a new front grille, a more sculpted rear bumper, thinner full-width LED taillights, and a two-stage rear spoiler.

Fast forward to 2026, and Porsche is busy testing what could be the refreshed version. Our spies managed to take pictures of a prototype Panamera being driven somewhere in Europe, and it has some not-so-noticeable changes. For starters, the front and rear bumpers appear to have been inspired by the latest 911 (992.2) redesign, which gives it a more aerodynamic look.

The rest of the vehicle appears to have been carried over, including the LED headlights & taillights. However, we could expect to see some technical upgrades in the form of a revised active suspension or air suspension system. Moreover, a new radar-based driver assistance system that was first introduced in the Macan Electric could be introduced.

Under the hood, the turbo plug-in hybrid engines, as well as the pure internal combustion engines, may likely be carried over for the refreshed Panamera. However, they could see a slight dip in power, as the engines will be required to follow stricter Euro7 emissions regulations.

The updated Porsche Panamera could debut as 2027 model year vehicles if they are launched later in the year. That means we could perhaps expect the refreshed Panamera to make its way to the Philippines in 2027.
