BMW's new electric car could be the i5 sedan
BMW could add a new car to its i lineup as CEO Harald Krueger said there could be room for a new electric vehicle which will sit between the i3 and the i8.
Krueger told the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung that BMW could produce a new electric car.
"There is space if you look at it from the number point of view," said Krueger.
The BMW CEO didn't go into specifics but a previous report states that the company is looking to expand its i lineup with the i5 sedan.
Rumors are abound that the i5 will be about as long as the i8 and will have a roomier interior than a 3-Series sedan.
