Jimny gets a styling makeover

Suzuki’s pint-sized off-roader is well-loved in the 4x4 community whether it’s the 3-door or the new 5-door version. But for those who like it with extra style, say no more, says Suzuki Philippines.

The Japanese small car specialist has previewed the new Suzuki Jimny Rhino edition at the 2024 Philippine International Motor Show. Featuring several styling enhancements, it highlights the rugged nature of the baby off-roader while adding a dash of flair.

The dress-up kit consists of a distinctive front grille, front bumper under garnish, and a special Rhino decal on the exterior.

Inside, the new Jimny Rhino edition gets similar features to the standard model. The Jimny Rhino edition is fitted with a dual analog dial gauge cluster, an integrated multi-info display, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a single zone climate control system.

Powering the new Jimny Rhino edition is still the 1.5-liter, four-cylinder called the K15B. The naturally aspirated mill puts out 102 PS and 130 Nm of torque, sending power to either two or all four wheels via a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox with a low-speed transfer case.
