NLEX-C5 Northlink Project Mindanao Ave-Quirino Highway section now close to 50%

Ten months after breaking ground, NLEX Corporation announces that it has reached the halfway milestone to its first 2-kilometer section of the NLEX-C5 Northlink Project. Once completed, this section will connect the Mindanao Avenue toll plaza to Quirino Highway in Quezon City.

“Reaching the halfway mark of this major infrastructure project reaffirms our commitment to delivering this segment at the earliest possible time,” said Luis Reñon, President and General Manager of NLEX Corporation.

The elevated expressway will operate 24/7 for all vehicle classes and is projected to serve around 11,000 vehicles daily, helping to ease congestion on key routes such as Quirino Highway and Mindanao Avenue.

The NLEX–C5 Northlink Segment 8.2 spans 11.3 kilometers, connecting Mindanao Avenue to C5/C.P. Garcia near Katipunan Avenue. This crucial corridor provides a direct link between the northern and southern parts of Luzon along Metro Manila’s eastern side, improving connectivity for commuters and freight alike.

In addition to enhancing mobility, the project is expected to stimulate business activity, generate employment, and support economic growth along the route.
