MMPC turns over L300 to BFP Sta. Rosa Fire Station

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has turned over a unit of the locally manufactured Mitsubishi L300 vehicle to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), supporting the agency’s operational mobility in responding to fires and other emergency situations.

The turnover highlights the practical role of commercial vehicles in public safety operations,= particularly in emergency response, logistics, and rapid deployment. With its compact design, payload capacity, and proven reliability, the Mitsubishi L300 is well-suited for the operational requirements of frontline agencies such as the BFP.

MMPC President and CEO Ritsu Imaeda underscored the importance of supporting emergency responders through dependable equipment. “The Bureau of Fire Protection plays a vital role in safeguarding lives and communities. Through the donation of the L300 we aim to support the BFP’s operational requirements and help ensure that our fire fighters are equipped with a reliable vehicle capable of performing under demanding conditions,” said Imaeda.

“As a local manufacturer, we take pride in seeing vehicles produced in the Philippines contribute directly to public service,” he added.

Assistant Regional Director for Operation, Fire Senior Superintendent (FSSUPT) Douglas Guiyab expressed appreciation for MMPC’s support. “The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 4A sincerely expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation for its continued support and generosity to the BFP, particularly to the BFP Sta. Rosa City Fire Station, Laguna. This support and initiative to the Bureau reflects a strong partnership built on a shared commitment to public safety and community service,” said Guiyab.

“We truly appreciate the trust and confidence extended to our organization. Rest assured that the donated vehicle will be utilized effectively to further enhance our emergency response capabilities and improve the quality of service we provide to the people of CALABARZON,” he shared.

The Mitsubishi L300 is manufactured at MMPC’s production facility in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, supports employment and contributes to the country’s automotive manufacturing sector.
