Chery Auto PH’s new B-SUV is called the Tiggo Cross
Chery Auto Philippines distributor United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI) is out in full force at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) and has just revealed its latest offering. It combines stylish looks, a fuel-efficient powertrain, a fully-loaded cabin, and budget-friendly prices. This is the 2025 Chery Tiggo Cross, and it’s ready to attract budget-conscious buyers.

The Chery Tiggo Cross features an exterior inspired by its bigger sibling, the Tiggo 7 Pro. It gets sleek LED headlights and a Diamond Accent front grille that gives the crossover a more upmarket look. The crossover also features vertical LED daytime running lights, five-spoke alloy wheels, new wraparound Tiger-Stripe LED taillights with a center light bar on the tailgate, an upward kink towards the C-pillar, and black body cladding that gives the Tiggo Cross a more rugged appearance.

Size-wise, the Tiggo Cross measures 4351mm long, 1831mm wide, and 1662mm tall. It also has a generous 2610mm wheelbase and 185mm of ground clearance. When it comes to luggage space, the Tiggo Cross can carry up to 380 liters worth of cargo. Fold the rear seats down, however, and cargo capacity increases to an impressive 1,225 liters, which is impressive for a B-segment crossover SUV.

Despite being a budget crossover, Chery made sure to pack the 2025 Tiggo Cross with lots of features. Immediately greeting occupants is a pair of 10.25-inch high-definition screens. One is the digital instrument panel, while the other is the touchscreen infotainment system that comes with Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. Below the touchscreen is a sleek-looking center console that houses the dual-zone climate control, a wireless charging pad, and the electro-mechanical gear selector.
Both the driver and front passenger get sporty bucket seats and a center armrest for extra comfort. Meanwhile, the rear passengers get their own A/C vents and a folding center armrest with integrated cupholders. Other available amenities inside the Tiggo Cross include 60:40 split rear seats, a 6-speaker sound system, intelligent voice command, front & rear USB charging ports, a tilt & telescopic steering column, and full leather upholstery.

Under the hood, the 2025 Tiggo Cross gets a 1.5L naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine. It makes a humble 116 PS with 138 Nm of torque and is coupled to a CVT with 9 simulated gear ratios that drive the front wheels.

When it comes to safety features, the Tiggo Cross is equipped with electronic stability control, traction control, hill-start assist, ISOFIX child seat anchors, rear parking sensors, a reverse camera (or 360 cam to be finalized), and a host of airbags.

The 2025 Chery Tiggo Cross retails for PHP 998,000.
