Mazda partners with Pawssion Project to help neglected pets & animals
Mazda Philippines distributor Bermaz Auto Philippines Inc. (BAPI) continues to give a helping hand to animals that need it the most. After raising awareness and pledging to help the pangolin guardians of the Katala Foundation earlier this year, BAPI has partnered with Pawssion Project, a non-profit organization that's dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of abused & neglected animals.

This was made official yesterday when Mazda Philippines president & CEO Steven Tan, along with Malou Perez, founder of Pawssion Project, officially signed a partnership at Mazda C5 Pasig. Also present Perez during the official signing were two ambassadors of the Pawssion Project, Garren and Lolo Pol.
Garren is a hit-and-run survivor who became blind due to his injuries. Despite losing his vision, Garren never lost his enthusiasm for fun and is always ready to socialize, whatever the occasion. The other ambassador is Lolo Pol, who is perhaps one of the gentlest and most easy-going dogs from the animal shelter.

Mazda Philippines also presented Pawssion Project with a customized BT-50 to help support the non-profit animal shelter. Using a BT-50 3.0L 4x2 A/T as a base, the customized pickup truck features a unique Pawssion Project livery as well as decals to remind everyone to “be kind to all animals” and to “adopt, don't shop”.

The special pickup truck also comes with a rear canopy complete with windows that can be opened, a pull-out slide that allows for easier loading and unloading of equipment/tools, and a fully-covered bed to protect the pickup truck's rear.

Last but not least, the seats are covered with a special upholstery to protect the seats while the vehicle is on duty.

With Mazda Philippines and Pawssion Project committed to helping abused and neglected animals, this is their way of helping our less fortunate furry friends.
