No Parking/Absolute No Parking Zones listed by MTPB

Manila’s streets, long choked by congestion and crippled by illegal terminals and vehicles shamelessly parked along major roads, are now under stricter enforcement. The Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) has rolled out a definitive crackdown, officially designating No Parking and Absolute No Parking zones within its jurisdiction.

According to the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB), the city has identified 7 + Mabuhay Lanes as Absolute No Parking Zones, and 57 No Parking Zones under its jurisdiction. While the agency has yet to release a detailed breakdown of the difference, it is generally understood that No Parking Zones may allow limited or time-based parking, whereas Absolute No Parking Zones are strictly off-limits 24/7.

What makes this more critical is that these Absolute No Parking Zones are not just side streets, but are major arteries of Manila’s road network, where any obstruction worsens gridlock for thousands of commuters.

Absolute No Parking Zones

The Absolute No Parking Zones are CM Recto Ave., Pres. Quirino Ave., Roxas Boulevard., Taft Ave., Magsaysay/Aurora Boulevard, Rizal Ave., Delpan RD. (R-10), and all the 17 Mabuhay Lanes within Manila.
