LTO CALABARZON bags award for most delinquent registration apprehensions

Amid its PHP 37 billion lost revenue in 2023, the Land Transportation Office (LTO), under the leadership of Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II has intensified its “No registration, No travel” campaign.

This year, the agency has awarded its CALABARZON regional office as the champion of the campaign. In total, LTO CALABARZON has apprehended 10,836 unregistered vehicles in its region. This accounts for 54.7% of the 19,815 unregistered vehicles apprehended in the Philippines.

“This milestone sets a new benchmark in LTO’s intensified campaign against illegal road users and underscores the region's commitment to upholding traffic regulations and road safety,” said LTO in a statement.

Asec. Mendoza commended the region for its dedication and urged other regional offices to follow suit in upholding road safety and regulatory compliance. Meanwhile, Regional Director Elmer Decena reaffirmed LTO Region IV-A’s commitment to maintaining the momentum and continuing its strict enforcement to protect motorists and pedestrians alike.

This recognition underscores LTO’s unwavering stance against illegal and unregistered vehicles, reinforcing its mission to uphold order and safety on Philippine roads.
