DAMD Armata is a Suzuki Jimny 5-Door that’s been made to look like a Lancia Delta

The Suzuki Jimny is no stranger to being a favorite among tuners and 4x4 outfitters. Take, for example, Japanese tuner DAMD, which has transformed the Jimny into a pint-sized Defender, a mini G-Wagen, and a Renault 5; it seems there’s nothing DAMD can turn the Suzuki Jimny into.

For the 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon, DAMD will once again showcase its abilities to transform the Jimny’s looks. This time, the tuner has turned its attention to the Jimny 5-Door, which gets a Lancia-inspired makeover. While this is not the first time DAMD borrowed inspiration from the Italian automaker, this is the first time the Jimny 5-Door gets the Lancia treatment.

With its Lancia-style front fascia, the DAMD Armata gets a Delta Integrale-inspired look thanks to the signature round headlights and distinct front grille and bumper. It is then accompanied by old school yellow foglights, an integrated front skid plate, truck-style side mirrors, O.Z. alloy wheels wrapped in off-road tires, new mud flaps, and auxiliary lights on the roof.

No engine modifications were done for the DAMD Armata, so we can expect the customized Jimny 5-Door with the familiar 1.5L naturally aspirated inline-four that makes 100 PS with 130 Nm of torque. It can then be mated to either a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual gearbox with selectable 4WD.
