Lamborghini Urus SE sold out until end of 2025, Revuelto has 2-year wait list
Lamborghini sold over 8,400 cars for first 9 months of 2024
Electrification may be all the rage today, but that hasn't stopped brands like Lamborghini from releasing high-performance (and emotional) supercars as well as super SUVs. While some may lament the loss of pure internal combustion from the House of The Raging Bull, it hasn't stopped loyal customers from getting a brand-new Lamborghini.
Just recently, Lamborghini announced its sales figures for the first nine months of 2024. According to the Sant'Agata Bolognese-based brand, they were able to sell a total of 8,411 cars which translates to an 8.6% increase over the same period in 2023. More importantly, it generated EUR 2.434 million which is an increase of 20.1% versus last year's performance.
“The year’s first nine months’ results demonstrate the exceptional execution of our strategy. We have solidified an excellent level of profitability notwithstanding the challenging commercial environment. Our third-quarter results further boost expectations of another record year, once again confirming our position among the most profitable brands in the luxury segment," said Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO of Automobili Lamborghini.
With that kind of sales figures from January to September of 2024, it's not surprising to see all models manufactured by Automobili Lamborghini remain in high demand. In fact, the automaker proclaimed that the waiting time for the Revuelto alone exceeds two years. That means customers looking to get one will have to wait well over into 2026.
On the other hand, demand for the Urus SE is also at an all-time high and Lamborghini shared that it's sold out until 2026. As for the recently launched Temerario (the successor to the Huracan), the first orders officially started last September and it's getting positive responses from customers.
“The extremely positive performance we are seeing is the result of an unprecedented chapter for Automobili Lamborghini, marked by the introduction of three new cars in just 18 months and culminating in the significant milestone of fully hybridizing our range with the presentation of the Lamborghini Temerario. This is a crucial moment for the company, highlighting the importance and impact of the transformation we are experiencing,” said Stefan Winkelmann, Chairman & CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
