Nissan PH reveals Kicks e-Power Sakura/Formula E Edition

Nissan Philippines Inc. (NPI) is proud to showcase a special edition model of the Kicks e-Power as a tribute to its global motorsports heritage. Say hello to the Nissan Kicks e-Power Sakura/Formula E Edition, a crossover that blends high-performance inspiration, cultural symbolism, and visual storytelling.

Made to mark Nissan’s recent championship win in Formula E Season 11, thanks to driver Oliver Rowland, the special edition Kicks e-Power celebrates both a competitive milestone and the enduring spirit of Nissan’s racing heritage.

The unique Kicks e-Power features Formula E-inspired design accents, including the aerodynamic contrast panels of the Formula E racer, to a sleek performance strip along its profile. It also features the number “23” that’s proudly displayed on the hood and doors. For Nissan, 23 is more than just a number, as it’s a badge of honor. In Japanese, “Ni” (2) and “San” (3) form the brand’s very name, and the numbers have become synonymous with Nissan’s iconic race cars. These include the likes of the Super GT and the Formula E team.

From its namesake, the special Kicks e-Power is wrapped in a combination of racing red and sakura pink livery that draws inspiration from Japan’s cherry blossom season. The blooming sakura graphics flow from the hood to the rear quarter panels, which reflect Japanese identity and offer a poetic contrast to the aggressive, track-ready beneath.

Beyond the sleek exterior, the Kicks e-Power Sakura/Formula E Edition comes with special alloy wheels in partnership with Concept One. It rolls on 19-inch Momo Revenge MBKPOL wheels and is wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires that measure 245/40.

“Our victory in Formula E is a reflection of Nissan’s commitment to performance, precision, and resilience, values that define every vehicle we make. The Kicks e-Power Sakura is a visual tribute to the brand’s motorsport legacy, and it’s our way of showing how the same mindset that wins championships also drives the quality & spirit of the cars we bring to the road,” said Masao Tsutsumi, president of NPI.
