Road rehabilitation works along NLEX and SCTEX to last until April 5
Heading up north soon via North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Subic Clark Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX)? Be prepared to avoid several portions of the two expressways as there are road rehabilation works that are currently being done on the major thoroughfares.
Recently, Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), the concessionaire that handles and maintains NLEX and SCTEX, announced that there are several road works and pavement repairs that are currently being conducted along the two expressways this week.
From April 1 until April 5, MPTC will be busy conducting repair works on several southbound and northbound lanes along NLEX and SCTEX. During rehabilation, there will be temporary lane closures on the expressways in order for the engineers to do the necessary repairs.
Soutbound Lane NLEX
April 1 – 2 – Middle lane portions of San Simon
April 1 – 5 – Middle lane portions of Candaba Viaduct
April 4 – 5 – Rightmost lane of San Simon and Apalit

Nortbound Lane NLEX
April 2 – 3 – Middle lane portions of Candaba Viaduct and San Simon
SCTEX
April 1 – 5 – Clark North Interchange, Subic – bound entry ramp and exit ramp from Subic; and Mabiga Interchange, Subic and Tarlac – bound entry ramp and exit ramp from Tarlac
