Goodyear PH launches new and improved Assurance all-weather tires

Goodyear Assurance TripleMax2 assure better grip and quicker braking in wet-weather driving

The rainy season is upon us once again and Goodyear Philippines decided now is the right time to introduce an all-new tire built for this kind of weather. Say hello to the Goodyear Assurance TripleMax2 tires.

“To celebrate our 120^th global anniversary, it is only fitting that we release a tire that perfectly captures what Goodyer has been passionate about throughout the years: innovation. With the Assurance TripleMax2, Filipino drivers can rest assured that their travels would be safe, regardless of the weather conditions,” said Kenneth Sambajon, Market Director of Goodyear Philippines.

Unlike the previous Assurance TripleMax tires, the all-new TripleMax2 was designed to give drivers better control and shorter braking distances on wet-weather conditions. Thanks to its unique tire compound, along with proprietary technology, Goodyear's latest tire is set to deliver improved handling, enhanced braking performance, as well as a more comfortable ride.

Tested by Germany's own Technical Inspection Association (TUV), the new TripleMax2 tires will allow drivers to stop faster up to 5.6 meters compared to other brands. This was made possible thanks to HydroTred technology. Using a boosted compound formulation with additional adhesive resin, braking performance was greatly enhanced, particularly on wet roads.

Aside from that, the TripleMax2 also has an asymmetric tread pattern cavity design that are optimized to create a squarer and steadier contact patch. With it, the tires grip onto the road better and also improves steering precision. Finally, its tire tread pattern was designed with narrower shoulder grooves and increased number of pitches. This allows for reduced tire noise as well as a quieter, more comfortable ride.

The Goodyear Assurance TripleMax2 tires are now available in the Philippines and will be available in 14- to 17-inch wheel sizes. Below is the full list of tire sizes / models available for the Assurance TripleMax2.
