Goodyear gives the Wrangler tire the Triplemax peace-of-mind

The rainy season is upon us. That means rain-filled days and slippery roads abound in the next few months. With that in mind, Goodyear Philippines is offering an SUV tire that can provide peace-of-mind no matter the weather conditions.

This is the Goodyear Wrangler Triplemax, an SUV tire that benefits from an improved version of Hydrogrip technology. It features an innovative tread design, a high-grip compound that ensures traction in wet weather conditions, and improved durability.

With its large blocks and a high number of biting edges, Goodyear claims the Wrangler Triplemax will deliver better braking and grip in both wet and dry roads. It also has an optimized cavity and 5-rib tread match that ensures constant contact patch, better pressure distribution, and longer tire mileage.

To keep the sidewall from getting damaged easily, Wrangler Triplemax benefits from a 2-ply construction and strengthened carcass cords. The double-ply construction provides more material in the sidewall area while the strengthened cords give the tire better resistance to potholes and other impacts.

Wrangler Triplemax also comes with a rim flange protector. This piece of protection will help in protecting not just the tire, but the wheels as well from damage. Meanwhile, a reinforced crown area (with two layers of reinforced steel belts) offers additional protection for increased tire longevity and a safer ride overall.
