To be fully revealed on February 3, 2015
Ford has released a teaser of the next-generation Focus RS that's scheduled to be revealed on February 3, 2015.
The teaser video highlights the handling prowess of the Ford Focus RS; the automaker stated early in the video that the ESP and traction control systems have been turned off when it was being tested by professional drivers in Belgium and in the USA.
Exterior-wise, the bodywork still resembles the current generation Focus on sale today but the upcoming RS does have a camouflaged front end.
The official powertrain of the new Ford Focus RS has yet to be revealed as well. The previous generation used a modified 2.5-liter five-cylinder Volvo engine that was also found on the previous ST. It had 305 PS with 440 Nm of torque and can go from 0 – 100km/h in 5.9 seconds.
