End of an era: Dodge PH launches Last Call units of Challenger
2024 Dodge Challenger Last Call units revealed for PHP 4.490M
Just before the holidays last year, Dodge Philippines announced they were selling the final units of the Challenger and Charger. With the all-new Charger Daytona reborn as an EV (as well as a twin-turbo inline-six) that's available in two-door and four-door body styles, it's not surprising Dodge is making the final call of orders for the outgoing muscle car.
Fast forward to 2024, Dodge distributor Inchcape Philippines has officially marked the end of an era with the official Last Call for the Challenger. With it, the last units that recently arrived in the country all carry a commemorative “Last Call” underhood plaque – making it a collector's vehicle.
Since its debut in the Philippines in 2011, more than 300 units of the Challenger have found homes in the Philippines – a testament to the vehicle's legendary status. Featuring a retro-modern design inspired by the classic Challenger from the 60s to the 70s, its iconic look continues to be one of the most eye-catching designs Dodge has come up with.
Don't expect a HEMI V8 under the hood of the Last Call Challengers for the Philippine market. Instead, the final batch of units for the Philippines are the GT variants which are powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 that makes 309 PS and 363 Nm of torque. Power is then transferred to an 8-speed Torqueflite automatic gearbox that drives the rear wheels.
The Last Call Challenger is available in 9 distinct colors which include; Cinnamon Stick, Destroyer Gray, F8 Green, Go Mango, Octane Red, Pitch Black, Plum Crazy, TorRed, and White Knuckle.
The Challenger GT 3.6L AT retails for PHP 4.490 million and is available in limited numbers.
