Changan PH to challenge Raize, GX3 Pro with 2024 CS15
2024 CS15 has a PHP 799k price tag
Changan Auto Philippines now has a crossover that slots below the CS35 Plus, and more importantly, they now have a challenger in the sub-1 million peso crossover segment.
Say hello to the 2024 Changan CS15. It now serves as the brand’s entry-level crossover that packs a 1.5-liter, naturally aspirated engine, a stylish exterior, plus a versatile and tech-laden interior.
Size-wise, the Changan CS15 is 4135mm long, 1740mm wide, and 1630mm tall with a 2520mm wheelbase. It also has a generous ground clearance of 190mm. For reference, the CS15’s size puts it squarely against the likes of the Chery Tiggo 2, the Geely GX3 Pro, and the popular Toyota Raize in the small crossover segment.
In terms of styling, the crossover shares some of the styling cues of the Alsvin sedan, particularly in the front fascia. Striking LED daytime running lights, a sleek sunroof, and stylish blacked-out taillamps contribute to the CS15's distinctive look. The vehicle wears large two-tone 17-inch wheels, while satin silver roof rails and a sleek shark fin antenna add a touch of sophistication to its profile.
Inside, the CS15’s dashboard layout features an integrated large touchscreen at the center that’s compatible with iOS and Android devices. The dashboard has rectangular vents and physical knobs for the A/C controls, while other interior features include keyless entry, standard leather seats, 60/40 split folding rear seats, and multi-function steering wheel controls.
Under the hood, the CS15 is powered by the Alsvin’s naturally aspirated 1.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine paired to a 5-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission, delivering 107 PS and 145 Nm of torque.
When it comes to safety, the CS15 is equipped with disc brakes on all four wheels, ABS with EBD and brake assist, dual front, and side airbags, child safety locks, and a suite of driver assistance features such as standard cruise control, rear parking sensors, rear camera, hill hold control and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The 2024 Changan CS15 retails for PHP 799,000 and comes in five different color choices: Flame Red, Aurora Blue, Blizzard White, Cosmic Silver, and Galaxy Black. On top of that, Changan offers a 5-year, 150,000 km warranty and a complimentary checkup within the first 5,000 km for your peace of mind.
At the 2024 Manila International Auto Show from April 4 to 7, Changan Auto PH will display the CS15 and will be offering test drives of its subcompact crossover. Those who will reserve the CS15 at the Auto Show will receive a PHP 50,000 cash discount and a free 2-year Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS). In partnership with BPI, driving home a CS15 is made easier with flexible payment terms, low down payment, and low monthly payment options.
