Denza Philippines announces its first dealer partners in the country
After announcing its intention to set up shop in the Philippines, BYD's premium auto brand Denza opened its first-ever dealer in the country today, January 22. This signals the marque's decisive step forward towards a formal launch and long-term growth in the country. The automaker also awarded dealerships to its local retail partners.
Present during the momentous event are leaders from BYD Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, Denza Philippines, and members of the local media. The gathering saw Denza's positioning as a premium brand shaped by intelligence, refinement, and sustainable innovation – including its intent to build a presence in Southeast Asia's fastest-evolving mobility markets.

Speaking on Denza's global direction, Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD-Asia Pacific Sales Division, shared how the brand continues to gain traction across international markets by redefining what modern premium means in the electrified age.
“Across Asia-Pacific, we've seen strong momentum for Denza as more markets embrace premium new energy vehicles (NEV). That experience gives us confidence in the Philippines, where consumers are increasingly sophisticated and ready to engage with a brand that combines intelligent technology with refined design and comfort,” shared Liu.

Meanwhile, Adam Hu, Country Head of BYD & Denza Philippines, outlined the brand's direction and reiterated its long-term commitment. Moreover, Hu shared that Denza Philippines is the sole distributor of the brand in the country.
“Our role in the Philippines is to build Denza the right way – with leadership, clarity, and long-term intent. We're not simply here to introduce vehicles, but to establish a premium brand that Filipino customers can trust & grow with over time,” shared Hu.

In 2026, Hu added that the Denza brand will expand its dealership footprint, alongside the gradual introduction of a broader portfolio of premium NEVs across key vehicle segments. Denza's initial lineup will include the B5, B8, and D9. All three vehicles are plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), with the B5 and B8 serving as body-on-frame vehicles with premium amenities and the ability to travel on electric power over certain distances. The D9, meanwhile, is a premium MPV that could take on the likes of the Toyota Alphard.
The initial dealer partners of Denza Philippines in the country include Denza Alabang & Denza Cebu, which will be operated by ACMobility Premium Dealership Inc., Denza Makati by Harmony New Energy Auto Service Philippines, and Denza Greenhills, which will be operated by E-Vantage Motors Inc.

With Denza Philippines formally launching its first dealers in the country, expect the premium auto brand to make more noise this 2026.
