BMW PH expands lineup of 7 Series with new turbo plug-in hybrid variant
Customers who wish to get a brand-new BMW 7 Series now have a choice to get one with internal combustion (ICE), as an electric vehicle (EV), or as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV).
That's right, after being approved by the LTO earlier this year, SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp. is proud to introduce its latest version of the 7 Series. This is the BMW 750e xDrive PHEV, and it serves as a symbol of progressive luxury and electrified performance in the flagship 7 Series lineup.

At the heart of the 750e xDrive is a 3.0L TwinPower Turbo inline-six that's paired with an electric motor that delivers a combined 489 PS and a healthy 700 Nm of torque. The electric motor is powered by an 18.7 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which gives the full-size luxury sedan an electric range of up to 86 km based on the WLTP cycle.
Despite its massive size, the 750e xDrive PHEV can catapult itself from 0 – 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reach an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h. Last but not least, BMW says that on a full tank of gas and a fully charged battery, the 750e xDrive PHEV can cover up to 750 km. Power is sent to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that drives all four wheels.

Just like the regular 7 Series, the 750e xDrive PHEV captures the essence of modern luxury and bold presence. The signature dual kidney grille with the “Iconic Glow” illumination that are then flanked by adaptive LED headlights. Complementing the bold look of the electrified 7 Series are the massive 20-inch Bicolor alloy wheels that add an elegant touch. Other exterior features include a panoramic glass roof, soft-close doors, and Comfort Access.
Hop inside, and occupants are greeted with Veganza leather upholstery that's paired with Fine-wood limewood and Fineline brown open-pored trim accents. It also has multi-function power-adjustable front & rear seats with memory settings, four-zone climate control, a Bowers & Wilkins surround sound system, and sun blinds for the rear passengers.

As before, the BMW Live Cockpit Plus comes as standard and serves as the 7 Series' digital instrument cluster and infotainment display. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, and also comes with wireless charging for smartphones. For added connectivity, the infotainment system supports an eSIM feature for digital integration while on the move.

Every BMW 750e xDrive PHEV comes with a portable flexi charger and a 5-year comprehensive BMW warranty (or 200,000 kilometers, whichever comes first) that provides complete peace of mind.
The BMW 750e xDrive PHEV is available for PHP 7.99 million.
