The new Livina is powered by a 1.6 liter engine

Nissan unveiled the updated Livina X-Gear at the 2014 Bangkok International Motor Show for the Thai market. The Livina is Nissan's new crossover vehicle that is powered by a 1.6 liter engine. The new Livina “offers the ultimate passenger comfort with a roomy, versatile cabin,” said Hiroyuki Yoshimoto, president, Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

The new Nissan Livina has a muscular look and is equipped with a v-shape front grill and a side under protector with a silver finish. It also comes with silver-colored roof rails and a spoiler. The interior of the vehicle can easily be adjusted for a wide range of functionality. It has a 60/40 split-fold seating that enables the Nissan Livina to have a load capacity of 769 liters. The passenger cabin of the vehicle comes in black and silver. It features a DVD player, a 6.1-inch touchscreen monitor, USB/Aux-in interface, and an upper A/C vent coupled with an A/C duct in the rear.

The multi-purpose vehicle also comes with intelligent keys with an immobilizer, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS),  Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), the Brake Assist (BA), anti theft alarm, pretensioners & load limiter safety belts, and dual front airbags. Adding to the list are the central-lock system, the LED third brake light, and the Multi-Information Display (MID) which shows the vehicle’s fuel economy, trip meter, fuel gauge, and clock.

Under the hood, the Nissan Livina is powered by a 1.6 liter HR16DE DOHC 16-valve, 4-cylinder engine, with Twin C-VTC and Dual Injector System. With the XTRONIC transmission, the vehicle can deliver an output of 116PS and 153Nm of torque.

It is available in three variants – 1.6MT, 1.6E CVT, and 1.6V CVT – and in five colors: White Solid, Twilight Gray, Burning Red, Brilliant Silver, and Black Solid.     

The Nissan Livina premiered in its home market (Indonesia) last year.
