January 2025 update will see Hyundai Ioniq 5 N make its way to Gran Turismo 7
Have you always wanted to drive the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N but can't afford one yet? Well, if you happen to have Gran Turismo 7, you'll soon be able to drive Hyundai's sporty EV on your favorite circuit.
That's right, the Ioniq 5 N is set to make its debut in Gran Turismo 7 with the January 2025 update. But before it will make its official inclusion in the game, the EV will join the World Finals in Amsterdam which is scheduled for December 7 – 8, 2024.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N will be the designated car for the Qualifying Time Trial session at this year's Nations Cup World Finals. The event will be broadcast live across official channels and on Gran Turismo TV.
The in-game Ioniq 5 N will be offered as a special reward in the Viewers Gift campaign which will run in tandem with the World Finals. While the reward will be distributed after the January 2025 update, players can secure the Ioniq 5 N simply by tuning in to the Nations Cups via the campaign banner in the World Map of Gran Turismo.

Like the real-world vehicle, the Ioniq 5 N delivers 650 PS thanks to a pair of high-output electric motors. 0 – 100 km/h is easily achieved in 3.4 seconds and it has a top speed of 260 km/h. It also has a sophisticated transmission program that simulates the shift behavior of a manual gearbox which is something enthusiasts will surely like.
“We are pleased to release the Ioniq 5 N to Gran Turismo 7. Hyundai's N brand has achieved remarkable success in motorsports this year, including its TCR class victory at the Nürburgring 24 Hours, securing the TCR World Tour drivers' title, setting consecutive new records at Pikes Peak, and a WRC drivers' championship. We look forward to future collaborations between Gran Turismo and Hyundai in the Esports sector,” said Kazunori Yamauchi, Gran Turismo Series Producer.
