1.6-million visitors expected to flock to BITEC

The 30th Bangkok International Motor Show is just around the corner. The theme for this year's show is "Green Life on Wheels" which comes from the inspiration below:

"Nowadays vehicle has become an essential part of human's daily life and also being like the second home to many people. From day to night many people use their vehicles as a working place, dining room, changing room, bedroom, etc. However, the major role of the vehicle is to take us to the destination safely. And we need the energy to drive the engine. Hence, the innovation of vehicle development should concern with not only new technology but also energy-saving and the environment."

With more than 130 companies from 11 countries, the 30th Bangkok International Motor show has estimated the number of attendees at 1.6 million.

Talking about the concept cars, the BMW M1 Hommage and the Lexus IS250C are
the icons.

The limelight will also shine on the launch of many new models of car such as the Eclass Coupe or the "ELK" RHD, Mini Cooper S Convertible LHD, Mazda Sassou, the BMW Z4 S Drive.35i LHD, BMW X6, BMW new series 7, Lotus 2- Eleven, Peugeot 407 New Facelift, Mazda New MX5, and the new Nissan Teana.

Furthermore, the most expensive car in the show, The Aston Martin DBS, worth more than 30 million baht will also be there in the Hall 102 area.

Next to the main hall, Hall 106, the Yontrakit Corporation will be allying its army including Audi, Citroen, Mitsuoka, KIA, Naza, Polarsun, and Geely to be ready for the show. Apart from that the newest car manufacturer from China, Chery Automobile, who will come and rock the Thai Automotive Industry with their trendy products will be also in this hall. And exclusively for this year show, we have received confirmation from 3 Yacht maker companies who will bring their yachts into the show as well.

For motorcycle lovers, Yamaha has also imported the Yamaha YZR-M1 800 cc. for this year show. Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki also imported tons of their products to attract more prospects as usual.

Lots of activities have been arranged and are 100% ready to support the show.
The 14-day of 30th Bangkok International Motor Show will start with the VIP day on March 24, Press day on March 25. Public day will be on March 26 to April 06. The venue is Bangkok International Trade Center (BITEC). The opening hours are 1200-2200 hrs (Weekdays) and 1100-2200 hrs (Weekends).
