Honda Cars PH reveals 2026 CR-V; now with two e:HEV variants
Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) greeted 2026 with an upgraded version of its popular compact crossover. After making its regional debut in Thailand late last year, HCPI has officially launched the 2026 Honda CR-V at Glorietta Palm Drive Activity Center, and it gets quite a revamp.

Let's start with the variant lineup; the 2026 CR-V now consists of two e:HEV models and one single VTEC Turbo variant. The range begins with the V Turbo HuNT CVT, which features a 1.5L VTEC Turbo inline-four engine paired with a CVT that drives the front wheels. It makes 190 PS at 6000 rpm along with 240 Nm of torque between 1700 and 5000 rpm.

Up next is the mid-range VX e:HEV e-CVT. That's right, the VX model now gets a hybrid powertrain. It comes equipped with a 2.0L VTEC four-cylinder engine that operates on the Atkinson cycle, producing 148 PS and 183 Nm of torque. It is then assisted by a dual-traction electric motor that's powered by a lithium-ion battery pack and generates 184 PS with 335 Nm of torque. Power is then transferred to the front wheels via an e-CVT.

Serving as the top-of-the-line offering is the RS e:HEV AWD e-CVT, and from its namesake, all four tires now deliver traction to the road. It gets the same electrified 2.0L engine and dual-traction motor, but now benefits from Real-Time AWD.
Style-wise, the 2026 Honda CR-V relatively looks the same as the pre-facelift version. However, it does get some subtle changes here and there, like new 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 235/60 series tires, new exterior trim pieces, and blacked-out accents.

Available only to the V Turbo variant is the new HuNT styling package, which gives the compact crossover a sportier look. These include copper-colored garnishes on the front grille & foglights, silver accents on the front lower bumper, black wheel arch trim pieces, and silver-colored running boards.

When it comes to amenities, the 2026 Honda CR-V lineup comes with plenty of standard features. One of which is Honda Sensing, which is the brand's suite of intelligent driver aids. All variants come with adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, collision mitigation braking with forward collision warning, lane-keep assist, road departure mitigation, lane departure warning, auto high-beam, and lead car departure notification. It now also comes with blind-spot monitoring and cross traffic alert across all models.

All models are equipped with smart keyless entry (RS and VX versions also come with a smart key card), a 9-inch touchscreen media display with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto plus Google built-in, intelligent voice control, automatic climate control, a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel, power-adjustable front seats with driver memory function, a wireless charging pad, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, leather upholstery, a power tailgate, and Honda Connect. The heads-up display (HUD) is now also available on the VX, which used to be exclusive only to the RS.
Exclusive features available only to the top-spec RS include a panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker Bose sound system (8 speakers only for VX and V variants), red contrast stitching with RS logo on front seats, and a hands-free assist feature on the power tailgate.

For improved peace of mind, HCPI says both the RS and VX e:HEV variants are covered by a specialized 8-year or 160,000 km battery warranty.
Available colors for the 2026 Honda CR-V include: Canyon River Blue Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Platinum White Pearl (+PHP 20,000).
