Ford Territory gets a facelift and hybrid makeover, starts at PHP 1.399M
Yes, you read that headline correctly. Ford Philippines just held the global launch of the Territory Hybrid, and we’re the first country in the world to get it.
Before you ask, yes, it’s different from the Ford Territory Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) we initially thought was coming to the Philippines. So what makes the Territory Hybrid different from the PHEV version?

Aside from the fact that it gets a slightly different name, this electrified Ford Territory comes with a power-split hybrid system that allows for seamless transition between various modes. It consists of a 1.5L turbocharged engine that runs on the Miller cycle and makes 150 PS with 230 Nm of torque. The engine is then assisted by an electric motor that puts out 218 PS with 315 Nm of torque and is powered by a 1.83 kWh nickel cobalt manganese high-voltage battery pack.
Instead of a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Ford Territory Hybrid gets a new two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT). This gives the Territory Hybrid a unique powertrain setup wherein it can automatically switch between various modes like EV, Series, Parallel, and Energy Recovery, which translates to better fuel economy and smoother torque delivery. From a standstill, Ford claims the Territory Hybrid can catapult itself to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds.

Beyond that, the Territory Hybrid also comes with three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport. Each one allows users to tailor the performance to various road conditions or personal preferences. It also benefits from selectable power steering modes, which also come in Eco, Normal, and Sport.
Style-wise, the 2026 Ford Territory Hybrid gets a sleek redesign for its latest update. Gone is the split headlight design, as the 2026 model year update gets a new set of LED headlights & daytime running lights with follow-me home function. Also new is a refreshed grille, a new lower air intake, and a cleaner-looking bumper.

The rear, meanwhile, relatively remains the same, although it now gets a full-width LED taillight bar and a restyled back bumper. Depending on the variant chosen, the Territory Hybrid is available with either 18-inch alloys (Trend) or bigger 19-inch alloy wheels (Titanium X). Size-wise, the Territory Hybrid measures 4685mm long, 1935mm wide, and 1706mm tall. It also has 185mm of ground clearance and a 2726mm wheelbase.
Hop inside, and the modern and polished interior of the previous Territory has largely been carried over for the Territory Hybrid. It still gets the same minimalist yet tech-laden cabin, which is dominated by a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment display. It gets crisper graphics and an updated layout for better ease-of-use and even supports wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. It also has a dedicated menu that will allow drivers to monitor the hybrid system while on the go.

All variants come with dual-zone climate control with second-row vents, leather seats, 60:40 split-folding rear seats, and an Arkamys sound system. For a more comfortable driving and riding experience, the Territory Hybrid gets a front acoustic glass that reduces road and wind noise at speeds of up to 120 km/h.

Other available features include a 12-inch digital instrument cluster for the Titanium X, a smaller 7-inch display for the Trend, a power-adjustable driver's seat, a wireless charging pad, 27W USB-C charging ports for the rear passengers, and a hands-free power tailgate exclusive to the Titanium X.

For better peace of mind on the road, the Territory Hybrid Titanium X is equipped with a plethora of advanced driver assistance systems. Also called intelligent driver aids, this gives the driver and passengers peace of mind thanks to features such as adaptive cruise control with auto stop & go, blind-spot monitoring, rear-cross traffic alert, auto high beam, forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and lane-centering control.

The 2026 Ford Territory Hybrid starts at PHP 1,399,000 for the Trend variant while the range-topping Titanium X retails for PHP 1,599,000. Available colors include Blue Panther, Crystal Pearl White, Oasis Green, Panther Black, and Star White.
