2025 Rox 01 SUV is the latest EREV to enter PH market

Earlier this month at the Chengdu International Motor Show, Rox Motor revealed the Rox 01 range-extender EV SUV that combines comfort, luxury, and all-terrain capability in a single package.
Now, under the distributorship of Transcorp Incorporated, Rox Motor has entered the Philippine market with the launch of the 01 SUV.
The boxy SUV gets thin inverted L-shaped LED light strips for its headlights and taillights, with a blacked out roof to make up the two-tone color scheme. The SUV rolls on a set of 20-inch wheels finished in piano black and wrapped in Pirelli all-terrain tires for the Sport, and 21-inch wheels in a chrome finish for the Luxury variant.
For the top-spec Sport version, the Rox 01 is fitted with a full-length underchassis protection, a stepboard, a roof rack and a trail camping set for your outdoor adventures.
The Rox 01 SUV has an approach angle of 22.2 degrees, a departure angle of 25.1 degrees, and a maximum climbing angle of 45 degrees. The ground clearance of the batteries is at 255mm, and it has a rated maximum water wading depth of 700mm.
Inside, the Rox 01 offers customers with a choice of tan, black, or white Nappa leather upholstery with zero gravity aviation seats to reduce fatigue on long drives. Large screens make up the dashboard with a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 15.7-inch central infotainment touchscreen, as well as a 9-inch monitor at the 2nd row. With standard captain seats on the middle row, the luxurious cabin also has trims made of natural wood grain texture from white oak.
Powering the Rox 01 is a three-in-one high-efficiency electric drive system that consists of front and rear electric motors, plus a 1.5L four-cylinder turbo engine as a range extender/generator. The PHEV system has a combined output of 476 PS and 740 Nm of torque.
The Rox 01 comes with a 56.01 kWh ternary lithium battery that gives up to 235 km of electric driving range using the WLTC cycle and has a GBT charging plug. With a 70-liter fuel capacity on the range extender, that allows the Rox 01 to have a total driving range of up to 1,115 km in one tank (100% battery, full tank of fuel).
With the SUV built for outdoor adventures, the Rox 01 has a terrain management system, variable damping shock absorbers, an advanced off-road cruise mode, and an intelligent water-crossing system that works in the similar principle as that of the Land Rover Defender. Its rated towing capacity of 750 kg makes it capable of towing small campers, motorboats, and other trailer equipment used for outdoor adventures. But for daily use, the Rox 01 is packed with a lot of intelligent safety features for its ADAS system.
When it’s time to camp, the dual 2.2 kW external power system, more commonly known as a V2L or Vehicle-to-Load function provides ample power for electronic devices such as an induction cooker, coffee machine, or even a small refrigerator.
The Rox 01 SUV is available in two variants: The 6-seater Luxury that retails for PHP 4.288 million and the 7-seater Sport for PHP 4.388 million. For the month of September, Rox Motor is offering a PHP 100K discount for buyers of the 01 SUV.
