The Lotus Emira lineup in PH is now complete

Electrification may be the trendy thing to do these days when you’re an automaker. But for Lotus, there is still room for good ol’ internal combustion engines (ICEs).

Just recently, Lotus Cars Manila has officially revealed the 2025 Emira lineup. The new offerings will replace the First Edition variants and will feature the Emira Turbo, Emira Turbo SE, and the Emira V6. These models build on the strong foundation set by the Emira First Edition and Emira V6 First Edition, which have captivated driving enthusiasts around the world since their respective launches in 2022 and 2023.

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of new variants to the award-winning Emira, one of the most successful Lotus models to date. In 2025, the Emira range will extend to meet wider customer needs while retaining the brand’s DNA and driving dynamics Lotus is renowned for”, said Dan Balmer, president & CEO of Lotus Cars - Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, & Africa.

First in the lineup is the Emira Turbo which packs a 2.0L AMG-derived four-cylinder turbo. It makes a potent 365 PS with 430 Nm of torque and is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. It can go from 0 - 100 km/h in a brisk 4.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 290 km/h.

Those who prefer something with more oomph can get the Emira Turbo SE. It too gets a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder from AMG but it generates more power and torque - 405 PS and 480 Nm to be exact. The Turbo SE version is faster to achieve the 0 - 100 km/h sprint as it can do it in four seconds flat. The top speed, however, is the same as the Turbo at 290 km/h.

There’s also the Emira V6 which gets a 3.5L supercharged six-cylinder engine that pushes out 405 PS and 420 Nm of pull. It’s slightly slower in hitting 100 km/h from a standstill at 4.3 seconds but it can achieve a top speed of 290 km/h. Transmission options for the Emira V6 include a proper 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic.

The Emira Turbo comes with 20-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport tires, single-piece brakes with black brake calipers, black leather interior, 12-way power-adjustable seats, and Vivid Red paint finish on its exterior.

Moving to the Emira Turbo SE, this one comes with the Lotus Drivers Pack which gives it Sports suspension settings (Touring for Emira Turbo), uprated cross-drilled & ventilated two-piece disc brakes, and launch control. Other goodies available in the Turbo SE include 20-inch V-spoked Satin Gray wheels, an Alcantara headliner, red brake calipers, and a Zinc Gray exterior hue.

Last but not least is the Emira V6 which comes with a Touring suspension, Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport tires, and a limited-slip differential (LSD) for manual variants.

The arrival of the Emira Turbo, Emira Turbo SE, and Emira V6 marks the completion of the lineup in the Philippines. Pricing of the 2025 Lotus Emira is as follows:

Emira Turbo - PHP 12 million

Emira Turbo SE - PHP 12.250 million
