HMPH now offering 6MT and 8DCT variants for Elantra N
It’s only been a year since Hyundai Motor Philippines brought in the high-performance version of the Elantra called the Elantra N. Back then, the Korean automaker only offered the sedan with an 8-speed wet-type dual clutch transmission.
That all changes for 2025, as Hyundai has brought in the 6-speed manual transmission version of the Elantra N to the Philippine market.

In terms of engine specs, the 6MT and 8DCT variants of the Elantra N are identical. The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder T-GDI unit produces 280 PS and 392 Nm of torque. While the steering wheel paddles are removed in the 6MT variant for obvious reasons, those who enjoy three-pedal driving will be glad to know the 6MT also has an auto rev matching function to mimic heel and toe during downshifting.

But in terms of features and equipment, the Elantra N 8DCT and 6MT variants are completely identical. Those include the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, the electronic front LSD, chassis stiffeners, and the linear variable exhaust valve system.

The 2025 Hyundai Elantra N with the 6-speed manual transmission retails for PHP 2,638,000, and is now available in the brand’s dealerships. The 8-speed wet-type DCT variant, on the other hand, is being sold for PHP 2,738,000.
