Refreshed 2025 Hyundai Creta begins at PHP

After first debuting in Southeast Asia by way of Indonesia, Hyundai's refreshed B-SUV has officially made its way to the Philippines.

Ladies and gentlemen, say “Annyeonghaseyo” to the facelifted 2025 Hyundai Creta. Featuring a Palisade-inspired makeover, the Creta gets a bolder and more dynamic appearance for its latest update and is now available with the N-Line appearance pack.

Starting with the most obvious first, the 2025 Hyundai Creta gets a heavily redesigned exterior thanks to the Sensuous Sportiness design language. The result is a boxier and more discerning look that's dominated by a rectangular grille and Palisade-like LED headlights & daytime running lights. It also gets new front and rear bumpers that give the vehicle a more rugged appearance that's complemented by black body cladding.

Hyundai also changed the rear of the Creta for the 2025 model year, as it now comes with a completely redesigned tailgate along with a new LED light bar for the taillights. Speaking of taillights, the Creta is now equipped with a new set that gives the B-SUV a more striking design.

For those who want a sportier-looking Creta, the N-Line appearance pack gives it a more dashing appearance courtesy of unique bumpers, bigger 18-inch alloy wheels that replace the regular 17-inch set, as well as special interior features, which we'll get to in a bit. Size-wise, the Creta measures 4330mm long, 1790mm wide, and 1635mm tall on a 2610mm wheelbase.

Hop inside, Hyundai gave the 2025 Creta a more stylish and high-tech cabin. Both the 10.25-inch instrument panel and the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system have been integrated into a single panel, creating an almost panoramic-like display. However, this setup is only available for the GLS, Premium, and N-Line variants, as the base model GL only gets a standard 4.2-inch digital instrument panel along with a smaller 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

When it comes to connectivity features, the Creta comes with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, Bluetooth, and intelligent voice recognition. The GLS, Premium, and N-Line variants get an extra feature in the form of built-in Waze navigation.

Also worth mentioning is the HVAC panel has also been tweaked and features plenty of physical controls like buttons, dials, and knobs. This makes adjusting the dual-zone climate control (or manual air-conditioning) easier and more ergonomic compared to touchscreen-based systems. Also receiving an update are the gear selector and center console.

Other key features available inside the 2025 Creta include full leather upholstery (fabric for GL), LED ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a center armrest, and a Bose sound system that's available on higher-grade variants. Opt for the N-Line version and the cabin features additional extras like N-Line seats and red-colored accents throughout the cabin.

Under the hood, the 2025 Hyundai Creta is available with two powertrain options. First up is the 1.5L Smartstream G four-cylinder MPI that makes 115 PS at 6300 rpm and 144 Nm of torque at 4500 rpm. Power is then sent to the front wheels via an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), which is Hyundai's version of a CVT.

Next is the more powerful 1.5L Smarstream Turbo GDi inline-four that's exclusive to the N-Line version. It delivers 160 PS at 5500 rpm along with 235 Nm of torque between 1500 – 3500 rpm. Instead of an IVT, the turbocharged Creta is paired with a 7-speed dry-type dual-clutch transmission (DCT) complete with paddle shifters.

As before, the Creta is available with Hyundai's suite of intelligent driver aids called SmartSense. This gives the vehicle smart driving features like forward collision warning, smart cruise control with stop & go (AKA adaptive cruise control), blind-spot collision avoidance, a blind-spot monitor, a surround-view monitor, and rear-cross traffic alert.
