Ranger Wildtrak 4x4 gets PHP 390K price hike
Excise taxes have been reimposed on pickup trucks under the CMEPA act last month, but most manufacturers took their time to exhaust their remaining stocks and to retain prices for as long as possible.
Now that we’ve entered the month of August, Ford Philippines has decided it’s time to raise the prices of its best-seller, the Ford Ranger.
The price increase begins with the Ranger XL+ 4X4 MT, which sees a PHP 244,000 price hike and now retails for PHP 1,523,000. As you go higher up the model range, the price increase goes up even further. The Ford Ranger Wildtrak 4x4 AT now retails for PHP 2,340,000 from PHP 1,950,000 – a price increase of PHP 390,000.
But surprisingly, the Ford Ranger Raptor in both the diesel and V6 suggested retail price remains the same at PHP 2,468,000 and PHP 2,799,000, respectively. Ford could still be exhausting the remaining stocks of these variants, hence the unchanged prices, but we won’t be surprised if they introduce a price hike for these two soon.
The 2025 Ford Ranger now retails at these prices, as well as the price difference from the previous:
