All-electric RS e-tron GT Performance is Audi's most powerful EV to date in PH

The RS Q8 Performance wasn't the only high-performance Audi that PGA Cars Inc. launched last weekend. Also revealed for the Philippine market is the 2025 Audi RS e-tron GT Performance, and boy, is it packing quite the upgrade and hardware.

While the RS Q8 Performance is the most powerful internal combustion (ICE) to date from Audi, the all-electric RS e-tron GT Performance eclipses the super SUV without having to use a single drop of fuel. This is made possible thanks to a pair of lightweight yet powerful electric motors that are placed on each axle. The front motor provides a healthy 342 HP while the rear motor delivers an extra 564 HP.

The result is a combined output of 925 HP, which puts it into hypercar territory. From a standstill, Audi claims the all-electric four-door can hit 100 km/h in only 2.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h. Providing the necessary juice for the RS e-tron GT Performance is a high-voltage 97 kWh battery, which allows the RS e-tron GT Performance to cover up to 525 km of range based on the WLTP cycle.

Recharging the battery via a DC charger in just 10 minutes can give the RS e-tron GT Performance up to 280 km of range thanks to a peak charging speed of 320 kW. Also impressive is the fact that Audi claims the 2025 e-tron GT can be recharged to full from 20% in as little as 18 minutes via a DC charger.

Complementing the high-performance electric powertrain is an active air suspension system. It now has a two-chamber, two-valve system that not only delivers a comfier ride but also keeps the car's body horizontal during dynamic braking, steering, and acceleration. Audi says this translates to a more precise steering response for better car control.

When it comes to style, the RS e-tron GT Performance comes with distinct carbon fiber elements finished in a unique camouflage hue. These can be seen on the corners of the front & rear bumpers, rocker panels, parts of the diffuser, and side mirror caps. Combined with the new exterior paint called “Bedford Green”, the overall look of the 2025 RS e-tron GT Performance combines sophistication and sportiness.

Inside, the RS e-tron GT Performance gets some minor updates, which include a refreshed virtual cockpit that displays new information like battery temperature and maximum charging power in real time. There's also a new smart panoramic glass roof that can change from transparent to opaque. New seats, a new steering wheel with a rally-inspired look, as well as Dinamica microfiber upholstery, are also available in the 2025 RS e-tron GT Performance.
