Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ SUV is yours for PHP 7.190 million

After announcing its imminent arrival last month, Mercedes-Benz distributor IC Star Automotive Inc. has officially revealed its latest all-electric model. Say hello to the 2024 EQE 350+ SUV, and it's gunning against the likes of the BMW iX and Audi Q8 e-tron.

Serving as the luxury brand's newest EQ model after the EQS that was launched earlier this year, the EQE SUV is essentially the high-riding version of the Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan. Moreover, it combines the brand's signature cutting-edge technology with the signature craftsmanship and design that Mercedes-Benz is known for.

Beginning with its looks, the EQE SUV features a sleek and aerodynamic exterior that is not merely just for aesthetics. In fact, its sleek silhouette & every curve and contour were meticulously crafted to help the vehicle cut through the wind. Since it doesn't have a traditional engine under the hood, Mercedes-Benz was able to give it a closed-off grille finished in gloss black and features the brand's signature three-diamond star in all its glory.

The vehicle also comes with seamless door handles which further highlight the vehicle's futuristic design while also improving its aerodynamics. Meanwhile, giving the vehicle a sportier look comes courtesy of the AMG Line kit which consists of an AMG-specific front bumper, an AMG-specific rear apron, and massive 21-inch AMG multi-spoke lightweight alloy wheels.

Last but not least, the EQE 350+ SUV comes with Digital Light with Ultra Range high beam, an Airmatic suspension with adaptive damping, a panoramic sliding roof, aluminum-look illuminated running boards, and sleek LED taillights that complement the LED headlights.

Size-wise, the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ SUV measures 4863mm long, 1940mm wide, 1685mm tall, and has a 3030mm wheelbase. It also has a curb weight of 2490 kg and a payload capacity of 505 kg for those who are thinking about hauling stuff with the EQE.

Hop inside and the EQE SUV welcomes you into a high-tech sanctuary. With no engine at the front, cabin space was maximized while a wide array of amenities and technology cocoon passengers even while stuck in traffic or out on the open road. Like the EQS, the EQE also features the brand's massive MBUX Hyperscreen – a 56-inch span of high-tech glass that seamlessly combines three screens onto a curved display.

From adjusting the climate control to setting your preferred tunes as well as choosing your preferred driving & seating positions, the MBUX Hyperscreen is here to make things easier. It also comes with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto support for faster pairing of phones, as well as Bluetooth connectivity.

It generates 292 PS along with a generous 565 Nm of torque. From a standstill, the EQE 350+ can catapult itself to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 km/h.

On a full charge, Mercedes-Benz says the EQE SUV can travel between 537 to 628 km, depending on traffic conditions. It's also rated to recharge at 22kW via AC charging and up to 170 kW when hooked up to a fast DC charging station.

For extra peace of mind, the EQE SUV is fitted with top-notch safety systems including intelligent driver aids. At its core is the Driver Assistance Package which seamlessly integrates with your driving experience to provide unparalleled protection and convenience. There's also a heads-up display (HUD) that allows drivers to keep their eyes on the road while still monitoring vital driving information.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ SUV with the AMG Line package is available for an introductory retail price of PHP 7.190 million.
